It has been 13 days already with 100 Days of Merry Animals and I’m beginning to be thankful for choosing to do the project. It’s not only that I finally commit myself to practice drawing things I’m not good at, it also connects me with friends and other participants who join in with their own projects. Creativity inspires creativity. We can have such a good flow when we do art in a big group.
Here are projects from friends I have been following. All in different styles but with same motivation, to just show up and make art everyday :D
madebynini, my good friend Nini is doing her needle felted things. She is so quick with all the cute little things. She even kindly did a cute little cat based on my merry character, Daisy the Cat! You can follow her daily work via instagram.
Suzi Poland is developing her beautiful collection of little acrylic painting on boards. I love how she explores colors, textures and patterns. They are all lovely.
Gloria from Colouryourdayhappy is doing her 100 days of butterfly wings and I really want to see her collection as a precious little book or cards after this project.
This is not in the 100 day project but Yvonne does a beautiful ongoing collection of ink and watercolor paintings everyday for her own #dailylifeonmycorner. Follow her lovely and witty lettering here.
An inspiring designer and illustrator, Anais Lee, is doing her 100 days of tiny drawing. Follow her cutest little things here.
I wish I could have more time to explore more and do more but all the projects in my hands right now are enough to keep me busy everyday. One of the projects is to do my very first MerryDay newsletter, which will be launched by the end of this month to welcome May. I’m enjoying doing cute freebies (image below) especially for the subscribers. If you have not signed up yet, you can do it now with the sign up form below.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a merry day!
